How to configure your emails with
Microsoft Outlook Express 4

If you use Microsoft Outlook Express version 4 or 5, the following instructions will help you set up your email accounts. Simply follow them step by step to configure you email addresses.

Double click on the Outlook Expressicon.
From the menu above, select Tools, then Accounts...
Click on the Add button and choose Mail...
In the Internet Connexion wizard window, type your full name in the display name field.
Click on Next >

In the E-mail address text box, type your e-mail address
Click the Next button

In the drop-down listbox, select POP3
In the Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server text box, type mail.clair.net
In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server text box, type mail.clair.net
Click the Next button

In the POP account name text box, type your username
In the Password text box, type your password
Click the Next button

In the Internet mail account name text box, type the prefix of your email address
Click the Next button

Select Connect using my phone line
Click the Next button

Select Use an existing dial-up connection and select Clair.net connection from the list below
Click the Next button

Click the Finish button

You are now set up to use Microsoft Outlook Express to send and receive emails.
